The Liberal and Labor parties take millions of dollars from big corporations and billionaires.

Scandal after scandal we see why people have so little trust in politics, and why would they? Whether it’s pork barreling, dodgy tender processes, the revolving door between big corporations and politics, or jobs for the boys, Australians are sick and tired of politicians brazenly gaming the system for themselves.

The Greens have been calling for a Federal ICAC for years, and we’ll be working to make sure the model proposed in this Parliament is rigorous and effective.

We don’t take big corporate donations. We can’t be bought and we won’t be sold. That’s why we need more Greens in Parliament. We can hold the major parties to account, tackle the climate crisis and make big corporations pay their fair share of tax to properly fund public services.
